Separate discovery from item inspection

The collection shows catalog listing images. Use them to identify a design or candidate, then keep any item-specific inspection evidence in a separate record with its own reference. A catalog view can help you explain the area you want to see, but the inspection question should identify the actual item and intended option. This makes later image comparisons easier to interpret.

Choose a check that answers your question

Clothing may need a clearly defined measurement; footwear may need comparable views of both shoes; an accessory may need a visible closure or dimension. The prompts below are starting questions, not inspection findings. Select the one that affects your decision and describe the evidence you would need. The guides explain how to make those requests specific enough to answer.

Prepare an inspection note before asking for more views

Use the QC worksheet to record the product reference, intended option, visible observation, and next request. You can download your notes and keep them with your own records.
